What is bothering you
Unwanted Hair Removal in Islamabad
Laser reduces hair. It does not remove every hair forever, and the number of sessions is higher than the advertising suggests.
What is actually going on
Laser works by heating the pigment in the hair down to the root. That single fact explains almost everything about who it suits and what it can do.
It works best where there is contrast between dark hair and lighter skin. Very fine, very light, grey or white hair has little pigment to target, so the laser has little to grab.
It also only affects hairs in their growing phase, and not every hair is growing at once. That is why a course is unavoidable and why anybody promising results in two sessions is not being straight with you.
Which one sounds like you
| Dark coarse hair | The best case. Responds well over a course. |
| Fine or light hair | Much less responsive. Be realistic before paying. |
| Grey or white hair | No pigment to target. Laser does not work on this. |
| Sudden coarse hair growth in women | Worth investigating medically before treating. Hormones may be behind it. |
Being honest with you
Two things worth knowing before you book. First, sudden coarse hair growth on the face in women can point to a hormonal cause such as PCOS, and treating the hair without looking into the cause means it keeps coming back. Ask your doctor. Second, six to eight sessions is the real number for most areas, plus occasional top ups afterwards. A clinic quoting three is either using a weak setting or is not telling you the whole plan.

Not sure which of these you have?
